Event Management

 

I love events ... or moreso perhaps the planning of an event.  I'm a very organized person and have always preferred to be the one behind-the-scenes.  I am highly motivated by the challenge of pulling together all of the details and the adrenaline that comes with the execution of events.  From something as simple but as important as birth announcements to a corporate open house for 150 of your best clients to an elaborate wedding for 500, I'd love to help you take your vision and make it a reality!

Event Planning to Execution

 

Event management has been a bit of a lifestyle for me.  For as long as I can remember, my family hosted events large and small for family, friends, and clients.  It is in my blood.  :-)

 

It is no surprise that I easily gravitated toward being very involved in a dog sport known as DockDogs where I helped regularly manage onsite events for participants ranging in number from 20 to 300, in addition to national events that incoporated package deals and multiple dining and awards options for up to 500 people.

 

In addition, I had the fantastic opportunity to be a hotel manager and corporate trainer for the fabulous Drury Hotels who are well known for their service and value added guest receptions and meeting rooms.  I would be honored to partner with you on your next event - big or small!

On Site Event Management

 

If you already have a great system in place but are looking for an additional professional to assist on the day of the event, give me a call.  I'd love to learn more about your processes and how we could work together. 

 

Pricing is $40 / hour plus travel and per diem expenses.

Personal & Special Events

 

From baby and bridal showers to elaborate weddings and surprise parties, I want to help YOU!  There are several ways in which I can be involved as a primary event planner or simply to add the finishing touches on the special day or to physically be there in person to make things run smoothly so that a family member or associate can instead enjoy the view instead of 'working' on your special occasion. 

 

Branding & Marketing Materials:  In addition to helping coordinate the details of your event, I can also provide marketing materials such as postcards, announcements, invitations, flyers, tickets, as well as electronic files that can be used to track the data associated with your event.  Occasionally a temporary website or Facebook page would be helpful to manage inquiries and help further promote the event.  All of these items will create a brand for your special occasion.

 

Initial Consultation:  Let's meet to discuss!  The initial consultation costs NOTHING and afterwards, I will provide a detailed estimate that would outline the terms and my responsibility to you.

 

Murals:  Another personal service includes murals in your home or office.  Do you have a special design or a favorite theme?  This may or may not have anything to do with an associated event but is another service that I like to provide.
